Take reuse to a new level and make wearables and creative objects from recycled materials and other refuse. In the spirit of Trashion — a term for clothing and accessories created from used, thrown-out, found, and repurposed elements — we are encouraging creative making with found objects.
The Anchorage Museum will be hosting a wearable arts “Trashion” show June 11, 2026, where designs may be displayed. Creative upcyclers will drop in to make with workshop hosts and community members, or pick up materials for their own making.
Free. Registration recommended but drop-ins welcome. Doors open at 6 p.m., clean up begins at 8 p.m.
