Make wearable art and creative objects from recycled materials and other refuse. “Trashion” is clothing and accessories created from used, thrown-out, found, and repurposed elements. Creative upcyclers are encouraged to drop in and make garments with workshop hosts and community members, or pick up materials for their own making.
Doors open at 6 p.m.; clean-up begins at 8 p.m. Free. Registration recommended, but drop-ins welcome.
This is an active opportunity to make “trashion” garments and wearables for the Anchorage Museum’s Trashion Show on Thursday, June 11.
