Planetarium Show: "Cartoons in the Dome - Dinosaurs Under the Northern Lights"

70 million years ago, during the Cretaceous Period, the Earth teemed with dinosaurs, some reaching the far-flung North and South poles. Discover the story behind the dinosaurs that thrived in the polar regions under the beautiful skies of Alaska. Uncover the relationships between the Earth and Moon, rotation and revolution, and the reason behind the Northern Lights themselves.

Free; ticket required and available at the front desk or planetarium ticket booth.

Cartoons in the Dome is a changing monthly planetarium offering exploring art, history, culture, and science. These immersive, full-dome cartoon movies occur on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. and are recommended for families with young children.
