Make wearable art and creative objects from recycled materials and other refuse. “Trashion” is clothing and accessories made from used, discarded, found, and repurposed materials. Creative upcyclers are encouraged to drop in and make garments with workshop hosts and community members or pick up materials for their own making.
Doors open at 6 p.m, clean up begins at 8 p.m. Free. Registration recommended, but drop-ins welcome.
This is an active opportunity to make “trashion” garments and wearables for the Anchorage Museum’s Trashion Show on Thursday, June 11.
